Volunteer as an Usher

A wonderful way to support the F.M. Kirby Center is to volunteer your time as an usher. You will play an important role in making every F. M. Kirby Center performance a spectacular experience for all audience members! Ushers are usually the first to greet our guests - our audience - as they enter the Kirby Center with the eager excitement of a great evening or afternoon of entertainment. All that begins with your cheerful smile and warm greeting.

In addition to helping to seat our audience, you may be given some other responsibilities during the show. As you perform this community service, which we hope you find rewarding, there are some benefits for you as well. These include the opportunity to watch the performance, attend volunteer recognition events, and be our guest, along with yours, at our W. Curtis Montz Film Series scheduled from early Spring through early Fall, when we screen the best of the season's films.
