A Look at the 6th Annual F.M. Kirby Fest

On April 20, the F.M. Kirby Center for the Performing Arts held the 2024 iteration of its only annual in-person fundraising event, F.M. Kirby Fest.

Over 400 people sampled food and drinks, enjoyed live entertainment and browsed offerings from local artists. Each attendee received a free F.M. Kirby Fest tasting glass and has the opportunity to participate in both online and in-person auctions, as well as a prize raffle.

Even with the ongoing closure of the theater’s bottom floor due to flood damage sustained in October 2023, F.M. Kirby Fest was another great night for our nonprofit. Thank you to every vendor, performer, donor, and attendee. Money raised during F.M. Kirby Fest helps fund our ongoing community outreach programs, including the Laux Young People’s Theater Series. Every year, more than 5,000 local students attend YPTS shows free of charge.
