In advance of The Wilkes-Barre Cavalcade of Jazz, WNEP visited the F.M. Kirby Center to speak with festival organizers.
The Kirby Center will host two events during the festival: an opening ceremony at 5pm Friday, May 3, and a concert featuring 10-time Grammy winner Arturo Sandoval at 6:30pm Saturday, May 4. Friday’s opening ceremony is free to attend and features a performance by Joe Michaels Trio. Saturday’s concert is ticketed and both seated or standing options are available.
